Jason Sharrow Social Studies- I have been a teacher here at Century for 8years now teaching both Social Studies and Language Arts. I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2002. My biggest passion besides teaching is backcountry snowboarding. That being the reason why I chose to move to Colorado. I started and run the first ever district sponsored skateboard club and also coach 8th grade girls basketball. My belief is that teaching is the most important profession in the world with that being why I became a teacher. I am looking forward to working with you and your students for a most successful school year. Social Studies will focus on the Western Hemisphere excluding the United States. Geography will be covered along with the past and present life of these areas. We will also cover the cultures of the Aztec, Inca, Inuit, and Mayan people. Welcome parents and students to the Stellar Core!!!

On the way up Longs Peak, just through the keyhole.

Boulder Field of Longs Peak. Getting ready for a great night under the stars.

About to drop in off of Loveland Pass. This is one of my favorite areas for backcountry riding.

This is what I am standing on in the above photo. This is the line I took down. It was a very steep and deep line, the photo does not do it justice.
My parents sailboat "Black Magic" in Traverse City, Michigan. Getting ready to head out on another great sailing adventure.
Another summer favorite, wakeboarding on Burgess Lake with my buddy Michael and friends.
On the summit of Longs Peak! I summit Longs Peak at least once or twice a year. One of my favorite 14ers.
Another great 8th grade girls basketball team! Coaching is so rewarding when you work with such a great group of students.

One of my best friends from Michigan that decided to come out for a quality visit.
