Course Description: 6th Grade Math CMP is a problem centered program designed to assist students in developing understanding and skill as they explore problems individually, in a group, or with the whole class. It also provides skills practice with homework questions that give students practice with important concepts, skills, and algorithms. |

Factors and Multiples: number theory, including factors, multiples, primes, composites, prime factorization |

Statistics: formulate questions; gather, organize, represent, and analyze data; interpret results from data; range and measures of center-mean, median, and mode |

Student Expectations
Absence Policy: You are expected to make up any work missed because of any absence. You are not entitled to earn credit for work missed during unauthorized absences. You will have the number of days absent plus one additional day to make up any missed work for authorized absences.
Tardy Policy: Be on time in your seat when the bell rings ready to learn.
Late Work Policy: Late assignments will be accepted with a 25% grade reduction. Late assignments will not be accepted after 5 school days. This does not refer to absent work.
