Hello and welcome to my web page. We will be learning a lot of different math concepts this year, and, if your child is in one of my Sixth grade classes your child's curriculum will look very different from what you were used to in elementary school.
It is called CMP (Connected Math Program). There are seven to eight books in each grade level. You will see many lessons within each book, and each lesson will show a connection between the math concept and the real world. If you ever have any questions regarding what your child is learning or any questions about the books they are using, please do not hesitate to call me and leave me a message or email me. I answer emails quicker, but I am happy to talk about an issue you may wish to discuss over the phone. I am happy to be teaching at Century Middle School, and I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
