AVID Essentials

 

AVID Essentials is designed to prepare 6 th grade students for middle school and high school. We teach students a variety of organizational and study strategies to assist students be successful in school. Students learn a note-taking strategy called Cornell Notes. They will also learn how to organize a binder, use their agenda, how to write a multi-paragraph paper, classroom success strategies, test-taking strategies, and overall strategies to manage middle school.
